We always envisioned our future church being near an orchard.  Currently, it’s a concept, but we like the symbolism.  The Bible encourages us to bear good fruit and to do it together.  We like this picture of the church’s ministry.

‘The Church’ is the most important part of our name.  We are a local body of Christians that endeavor to do three things; share the message of Jesus Christ, equip our family for ministry and build a vibrant community of Christ Followers.

William Carter was a Christ Follower.  He was a small town pastor who was faithful to God through good times and bad.  He was a man that was dedicated to teaching the Word of God and directing people to Jesus.  He was a great picture of a person who produced quality fruit.

We named the Orchard after him.

So whether the Orchard stays symbolic or becomes part of our physical location we’re excited to see God bearing good fruit through our community.

The Church at Carter’s Orchard is a community of people who are bearing good fruit together. 

We are after the seed, the maturity and the reproduction of each tree.  God is creating a local community of trees that multiply great quantities of good fruit.
